Sacyr Neopul, Sacyr Group´s subsidiary company, has been awarded the contract to maintain the electrification network of the ‘Dublin Area Rapid Train’ in Ireland, on the line that serves the city of Dublin and the capital´s coastline.

Works include the renovation of 80 kilometres of catenaries and the maintenance of 130 kilometres of the electrification network. The latter work has already been carried out by the company for the operator Irish Rail since 2008.
This network covers the city of Dublin and the Irish capital's coastline, which caters to about 20 million passengers per year. The contract amounts to €76.3 million with a term of eight years, extendable for another two.
