Azvi has presented the result of the innovation project designed to transform automation in track assembly. It is a new sleeper squaring machine that joins the company’s fleet of railway machinery.

The new squaring machine is a self-developed project designed to automate the track assembly process. This machine features a sleeper detector, which counts the sleepers and measures the distance between them; claws, which hold and lift the rails; and legs, to secure and lift the assembly.
It also includes other equipment parts such as a table, which supports the positioning, squaring and alignment elements; gull-wings, which align the sleepers; and clamps, which position and square the sleepers. The machine has the capacity to operate with battery, for tunnels, or with a generator; it is adjustable to different sleeper spacings and adapts to different track gauges.
