Ineco launches new visual inspection tool for railway track maintenance

Ineco has developed and launched an innovative visual inspection system for railway track maintenance called DIGAV (Graphic Inspection Device for Track and Switches) which uses artificial intelligence.

The process involves the use of seven 3D capture cameras with ten viewing angles. The innovation lies in that the audiovisual track inspection currently carried out using a front light and a Tablet has been automated. The use of AI follows regulatory patterns to process collected data and automatically pinpoint issues such as missing components, incorrect positioning, or platform clearance checks, among other verifications.
