The Talgo Foundation awards 420 scholarships in Kazakhstan



The Talgo Foundation and the Kazakh foundation called Irtysh have awarded 420 scholarships to the children of Talgo employees in Kazakhstan, with the objective of helping the families of employees affected by the COVID-19 crisis.


The Talgo Foundation awards 420 scholarships in Kazakhstan

The scholarships amount to a total of 10,000 euros and will fund the purchase of books, school material and educational games during the 2021-2022 school year. The beneficiaries live in the towns of Almaty and Astana, the country’s capital, where Talgo has a total of 381 employees.


In Astana, the scholarships will help 63 families of the 166 employees that work in the region. In the case of the city of Almaty, where Talgo has 215 workers, the number of beneficiary families amounts to 133. The project will benefit a total of 196 families and 420 children.
