According to VTG plans, traffic will start on those routes already adapted by Adif and, subsequently, it will extend to other additional routes where Adif will undertake works for their adaptation to the required gauges, as is the case with the route between Algeciras and Zaragoza.

Wagons are complemented with loading equipment, tray type, to facilitate the use of the system of railway highway by any semi-trailer, whether or not it has reinforced chassis to be lifted by cranes. This system has been designed for its use in terminals, since it does not require infrastructure that limits spaces or complicates the traffic of trucks inside the enclosures.

Another characteristic of these vehicles is that they measure the distances by laser, which reduces the need for operation staff and allows the driver to place the semi-trailer on the tray without leaving the driver’s cab and in the record time of five to seven minutes.
