Sener to participate in the design of Ontario Line metro in Toronto, Canada

(02/12/2022)

Sener has been selected as part of the design team of the construction consortium Ontario Transit Group, formed by Ferrovial and Vinci, to carry out the Ontario Line project, which will put 227,500 people within a 10-minute walk of a transit station and will relieve congestion on the existing metro Line 1 (Yonge-University).

The new fast, stand-alone mass transit line will span a total of 15.6 kilometres from Exhibition/Ontario Place to the Ontario Science Centre. The Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel contract will require the construction of six kilometres of tunnels and seven stations, six of them underground.
