Galicia Tourist Trains are awarded at 2023 Rail Tourism Awards

Galicia Tourist Trains, which run in the northwest of Spain, have received an Honourable Mention from the jury at the 2023 Rail Tourism Awards, organised by the European Travel Commission and Eurail. These awards judge the development of a product focused on the railway, its creativity and its social and media impact.

Galicia Tourist Trains have received this honourable mention ‘for their excellent marketing campaign, in line with the philosophy of these European railway awards, which recognize those campaigns that encourage travellers to explore Europe by train’.
The 2023 edition has received more than thirty applications from tourism organizations, marketing agencies, railway operators and other entities that are present in Europe’s tourism sector.
The awards ceremony took place in Vienna during the opening night of the World Passenger Festival, organized by ÖBB and Wiener Linien at the Ovalhalle, the MuseumsQuartier.
